Horsley Youth Council Art Competition

As part of our ongoing Community Arts events, we wanted to engage with our young locals.

We approached the Horsley Youth Council with a small donation and it was their idea to come up with an art competition.

“The World Around Us” was the theme for entries, either artistic or photographic by Horsley youngsters up to the age 11 -18.

There were cash prizes (always popular) which were presented in May at West Horsley Place and we are delighted to say that the entries were of a very high standard.

We look forward to displaying some of them in our “Art at the Station” cabinet at Horsley station.
