About the event

Ham House

Leased by William Murray from King Charles in 1626, Ham House was transformed by William and later by his daughter Elizabeth. This great house survived the English Civil War and Parliamentary rule and was home to Elizabeth’s descendants for almost three centuries. The house today is a rare example of one of the great Stuart houses. Join us for a self guided visit to see this great house and its grounds.

After lunch, we will be taken on a short coach ride to the Poppy Factory where we will begin our guided tour to see its work.

The Poppy Factory has been an integral part of Richmond since the 1920s. Our visit includes a presentation and a self guided tour of its exhibition where you can have a go at wreath and poppy making. Afternoon tea made by inhouse bakers, 7 Marvels, is included .

TICKET PRICES (includes travel by coach). It does not include lunch.

R H S or NT MEMBERS – £35 / NON MEMBERS - £48
