About the event

Dorney is one of England's lovliest houses, renowned for its achitectural importance and historical significance. There is much to inspire curiosity.  Little has changed in 600 years, bar the inhabitants. The Estate has been the home of the Palmer family for nearly half a Millenium, passing from father to son.  It is a Grade 1 listed building and has always been the manor house of Dorney Village which was first recorded in the Domesday Book.

Join us for a private guided tour of this lovely house. A sandwich lunch (plus tea or coffee) is included in the price of your ticket and served by the very nearby cafe / garden centre, Crocus at Dorney.

Thereafter you are welcome to take a stroll around the grounds of the house.  If you want to know more, please go to  https://dorneycourt.co.uk/

You can leave your car free of charge at KGV car park in Effingham from where a coach will take us to the venue. We should leave at around 9.30 (exact time TBC)  and be back at around 3.30-4pm, depending on traffic.

Please note that the house does cater for disabled visitors, to read more, please visit the site
